Filming with the Talyllyn Railway

I have been videographer for the Talyllyn Railway since Spring 2019, and with little prior knowledge of the world of steam trains I have had everything to learn.

The Talyllyn is the world's first preserved railway, and runs from the little village of Abergynolwyn in the Snowdonia National Park to the coastal seaside town of Tywyn.

Not only is it a beautiful area to capture with my camera, but the people I have encountered, many of them volunteers on the railway, have been a delight to meet, full of passion and positivity for their railway.  I look forward to learning and creating more videos with them as the seasons change.
