What is worn less than a wedding dress? They end up in charity shops, hard to sell, cheap as chips and often spotless. Nicola Burgess, who manages the Severn Hospice shop in Machynlleth was inspired by one such beautiful donated dress to organise a vintage wedding fair, where hardly -used wedding items of all sorts could be sold for a fraction of the price while helping the planet by reusing and recycling stuff instead of creating more new things to use once and throw away.
